What the ideal candidate will do:


  • Set up, calibrate, and operate balancing machines for prototype and production work.
  • Perform machine certifications and testing (Gage R&R, CPK, MU) to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Record, analyze, and report balancing results; prepare data sheets and communicate findings.
  • Maintain calibration records, certify master parts/weights, and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate schedules, manage inventory, and support production reporting and shipping requirements.
  • Perform quality inspections and support Production, Quality, and Maintenance as needed.
  • Communicate with customers as needed to provide updates and ensure requirements are met.
  • Must be a U.S. Person.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment or machine operation within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude: experience with balancing equipment operation is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of basic machine controls, including pneumatic systems and electrical components (e.g., valves, switches).
  • Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience performing quality inspections; familiarity with CMM operation is a plus.
  • Effective communication, math, and computer skills required.
