Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Reporting Automation Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of the Analytics and Information Strategy team, focused on delivering reporting, data insights, and process improvements to support business operations. The selected candidate will partner with analysts and stakeholders to enhance data accessibility and reduce manual effort by building, enhancing, and automating reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, enhancing, and automating reporting processes currently performed manually
• Partner with analysts to understand reporting needs and translate them into automated solutions
• Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting and data queries
• Convert existing Excel and SQL-based reports into scalable Tableau dashboards
• Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting outputs
• Support ongoing improvements to reporting efficiency and performance
• Independently manage assigned work while collaborating with team members on shared goals

Requirements:

• Strong SQL development skills
• Advanced Excel knowledge and experience working with large datasets
• Experience with reporting automation and process improvement
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional partners

Desired skills:

• Experience developing dashboards in Tableau
• Experience transforming manual reporting into automated solutions
• Familiarity with data platforms and tools used for reporting and analytics
• Ability to independently lead work while contributing to team objectives
• Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Pay range: $46.09 - $54.09 per hour
