Overview This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Columbia, MD office location. Must be able to travel in MD market for this role. Under minimal direction, market and sell the entire range of department products and services throughout a designated territory within Fulton Financial Corporation's geographical footprint. Maintain in depth knowledge of industry trends. Develop strong community presence and networking contacts in order to access potential clients. Responsibilities
Responsible for generating income and sales opportunities by selling department products and services. May be responsible for maintaining and generate a larger portfolio while working with more complex and larger businesses. Sales goals will be met by contacting customers and prospects through personal visits, phone calls and written communications, researching and building prospect lists, prospecting potential clients through referral sources and cold calling and responding to incoming referrals from other bank staff. Will prepare customized written proposals, follow up to ensure the potential sale is consummated, conduct maintenance calls on existing customers, provide new customer onboarding information to operational staff and maintain expertise in departmental product set. Responsible for assisting in the design and presentation both internal and external sales and information seminars, workshops and other presentations that will promote the department's products and services. May be required to attend meetings promoting department specific products and services. May also participate in local industry organizational boards and committees where applicable as well as cultivate in market referral sources and enhance Fulton Financial Corporation's reputation of a trusted provider of department specific services.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business or equivalent. (Required) Master's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business or equivalent. (Preferred) Experience7 or more years of Sales experience in Treasury Management? (Required) Extensive sales experience in the merchant industry. Pay Transparency To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. The salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $151,600.00 annually. Additional Compensation Components This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
