What you'll do: This is a part-time fill in position, offering a flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of one 8 hour shift per month, primarily providing coverage for PTO as needed. You'll care for approximately 16 to 22 patients per day, performing comprehensive eye exams, recommending vision-enhancing solutions, and promoting long-term eye health through patient education. Experience with specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and glaucoma treatment is a plus and will support care for a diverse patient population. You'll use modern technology such as Optos imaging, the HERO Visual Field Headset, auto phoropter, and OCT, while following an accommodative exam template to deliver a thorough, engaging exam experience. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll collaborate to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions
