NMSI is a remote-first organization, allowing staff members to work primarily from their home office. Staff must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace with reliable high-speed internet. What You'll Do All Day

As a Program Coordinator you will play an essential role in advancing our mission. You will collaborate with a passionate team to craft and implement strategies that elevate the future of math and science education. The Program Coordinator will serve as a critical operational backbone that ensures seamless execution of NMSI services. You will manage logistics, systems, data, and cross-functional coordination to support high-quality implementation of services to districts. Coordinators in this role will be cross-trained across all job duties but may be asked to focus more on specific areas. Your day-to-day activities may include:

Program Operations & Logistics



  • Coordinate all operational aspects of program delivery, ensuring timelines and requirements are met
  • Schedule training sessions and confirm finalized dates on the internal program calendar
  • Secure facilities for in-person events and coordinate room setup needs
  • Arrange catering, materials distribution, and other event-specific logistics to support a world-class professional development experience
  • Provide responsive operational support to districts through collaboration with the Manager, Program Success
  • Handoff timely communications regarding event details, system access, and training updates to the Manager, Program Success


Systems and Data Management



  • Ensure accurate setup of schools, districts, and participants across NMSI systems
  • Monitor participant access to platforms, courses, and materials; troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed
  • Manage workflows for accurate data collection
  • Oversee the management of user accounts, courses/services, and school/district records in Salesforce and Maple
  • Support district onboarding and access to NMSI platforms, ensuring smooth adoption of tools and systems


Coordination with Internal Teams



  • Partner closely with Program Design & Innovation to ensure appropriate assignment of coaches for events
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with Managers, Program Success to align on timelines, status updates, and service requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Development to interpret contract requirements and ensure alignment with program delivery expectations


Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement



  • Monitor execution of events and services to ensure accuracy and a positive participant experience
  • Maintain checklists, templates, and process documentation to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Assist with reporting and analysis to extract actionable insights related to operations



Additional Duties



  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned to support program implementation and organizational success.


The Program Coordinator will report to the Manager, Program Delivery and is a regular full-time hourly position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the contiguous United States. Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings, conferences, and events.

  • Physical Requirements: Remote employees working from a home office must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer and other standard office equipment, and have the capability to perform the required tasks and participate in virtual meetings, as well as occasionally in-person meetings. Employees must be able to travel overnight away from their home office environment as needed. Reasonable accommodation can be arranged if necessary.



What Do We Offer?

The starting hourly range for this position is $25.10/hr to $28.87/hr, commensurate with experience. We take pay equity seriously and strive to ensure fair compensation for all team members. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
