Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is a leading anti-poverty organization serving neighbors in need across New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Westchester. Through 70+ programs, we support over 35,000 adults and children each year, including individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, youth aging out of foster care, veterans, seniors, and children with developmental delays.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Position: Associate Program Director



The Associate Program Director manages the case management and specialized support service delivery system for clients as well as establishing community linkages to enhance services. In the absence of the Program Director, assume the responsibilities of that position.



Lydia E. Hoffman Family Residence is a transitional family shelter located in the Bronx, where residents learn essential skills that enable them to meet the challenges of everyday life. Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and five years' experience including two years in a supervisory experience.



Associate Program Director Principal Responsibilities:



  1. Manage program personnel in case management and support areas.
  2. Establish and maintain program delivery models.
  3. Develop and maintain linkages with other service agencies, generic community resources, and state/city liaisons.
  4. Ensure that regulations and quality assurance indicators are achieved.
  5. Maintain client records in a professional and confidential manner.
  6. Participate in the general management of the facility or program.
