JOB SUMMARY:

This role is the connective tissue between clinical leadership, hospital administration, and the implementation project team - ensuring that site-specific requirements are understood, governance processes are navigated, and project work moves forward without delay. The EHR Facilitation Specialist is expected to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and surface blockers proactively before they impact delivery timelines.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Experience working within or alongside a government healthcare environment (VA, DoD, or similar)
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, particularly Oracle Health / Cerner deployment workflows
  • Experience coordinating between clinical teams and IT or implementation teams
  • Understanding of healthcare governance, compliance, or regulatory approval processes
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification
  • Serve as primary on-site clinical informatics resource during and after deployments.
  • Act as liaison between clinical end users and technical/application teams.
  • Support issue triage, documentation, and resolution.
  • Evaluate workflows and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Provide hands-on end-user support and training reinforcement.
  • Support go-live, stabilization, and post-deployment activities.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.
