| Position Summary |
The position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the First-Year Odyssey program (
FYO), the Double Dawgs program, and the Transfer Launch Seminar program (
TRLS). This includes the day-to-day management of student workers that perform duties related to
FYO, Double Dawgs, and
TRLS. The position is responsible for administration of responsibilities related to the Comprehensive Student Learning Record (
CLR) and Institutional Competencies (IC). The position also manages the study abroad/field study approval process. The position will be trusted to perform important tasks to support the daily functions of the unit with a great degree of autonomy. The position involves a high-level of attention to detail and provides backfill for curriculum-related responsibilities within the office. |

First-Year Odyssey Seminar, Double Dawgs, and Transfer Launch Seminar Programs
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the First-Year Odyssey Seminar Program, including the seminar approval process, the faculty compensation process, and the out of class activity funding process.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Double Dawgs program, including the review of proposals, providing guidance and feedback on proposals to schools and colleges, modifying proposals.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Launch Seminar program, including the review of proposals, providing guidance and feedback on proposals to schools and colleges, modifying proposals.
- Represent the Office of the Registrar at recruiting events and summer orientation.
- Respond to questions about the programs from faculty, staff, students, administrators, and prospective students and their families.

- Review proposed study abroad and field study programs and provide guidance/feedback.
- Provide backfill services to the the field study and study abroad approval systems and websites.
