Description

The
Marketing Specialist serves as a key contributor supporting marketing
initiatives for UCLA Health|UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine programs and
service lines. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and Marketing
and Communications colleagues to help plan, develop, and execute marketing
activities aligned with organizational goals.

The incumbent is responsible for executing
marketing plans and supporting the development of strategies for internal and
external audiences that promote UCLA Health|DGSOM services and priorities.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role ensures marketing efforts
are aligned with brand standards, organizational priorities, and stakeholder
needs.

The incumbent applies professional marketing
knowledge to implement campaigns and initiatives. Assignments are moderately complex
and require independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques, with
guidance provided for more complex or ambiguous situations.

Annual Salary Range: $78,500.00 - $163,600.00

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's
    degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-7
    years of progressively responsible marketing experience
  • Strong
    knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, and campaign execution
  • Strong
    written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability
    to work effectively in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability
    to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability
    to apply judgment to solve moderately complex problems and escalate when needed
  • Experience
    supporting market research efforts, including competitive analysis and audience
    insights
  • Strong
    organizational and project coordination skills
  • Ability
    to build collaborative working relationships across teams
  • Experience
    executing marketing campaigns and supporting marketing programs
