Maintenance Technician Night Shift II (7PM-7AM) - $30.25/hr. Who we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Day Shift Maintenance Tech to be based out of the Weatherford location. Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Technician I/II primary focus will be to support production and quality by ensuring proper operation of equipment. This will include performing preventative maintenance on machinery, locating root cause of problems in a safe and efficient manner to reduce downtime, and being able to operate power equipment and tools. What you'll do: Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain, repair, improve, and possibly modify and build machines to aid and improve the process of the manufacture of PVC pipe products.
- Abide by all Company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ensure safe and operable condition of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing PM's requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines per manufacturer's instructions
- Locate source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation: listening for problems: using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Remove and repair defective parts; use of cranes, hoists and hand tools
- Control downtime by informing production or routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment, welders, and cutting torch
- Align motor/gearbox coupling with laser alignment tool
- Perform routine equipment checks
- Locate sources of problems by observing equipment in operation
- Assist in Changeovers, line setup, startups, and shutdowns; to minimize downtime
- Maintain and repair the equipment used to manufacture, package, convey, store, and/ormanipulate PVC conduit; consisting of but not limited to:
- Electric motors (AC/DC).
- Water pumps.
- Vacuum pumps.
- Gear motors/boxes.
- PVC pipe belling equipment.
- 100+hp air compressors.
- Water Chillers.
- Fork trucks.
- Automatic cutting equipment (saws).
- Vacuum and blown material conveying systems.
- PVC pipe granulators.
- Maplan and Cincinnati extruders.
- Electric heating bands.
- Littleford Mixing Machines.
- Pneumatic cylinders and solenoids.
- Maintain and repair the building and offices
What you'll bring:
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Must have experience with installation and repair of machinery.
- Must have good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate calculations.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $30.25/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
