Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Sales Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience within the healthcare and education staffing industry. This internship is designed for individuals interested in developing foundational B2B sales skills through real-world exposure, mentorship, and guided participation in daily sales operations.
This is a development-focused internship intended to provide education, exposure, and practical experience - not quota-driven sales pressure. Success in this role is measured by curiosity, professionalism, effort, and willingness to learn.

What You'll Learn & Experience
Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure to:
  • B2B sales fundamentals within healthcare and education staffing
  • CRM systems and pipeline management (HubSpot)
  • Cold calling and outbound prospecting techniques
  • Professional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sales forecasting and pipeline review processes
  • Lead generation and market research strategies
  • Proposal and RFP review exposure
  • How sales professionals navigate objections, follow-ups, and buyer conversations
Internship Structure
Weeks 1-2: Orientation & Sales Foundations
  • Learn the healthcare and education staffing markets
  • Observe sales calls, pipeline reviews, and team meetings
  • Receive HubSpot and CRM training
  • Support market research and CRM cleanup projects
  • Learn sales terminology and professional communication standards
Weeks 3-4: Active Support & Guided Participation
  • Continue shadowing sales calls and client interactions
  • Assist with lead generation and CRM maintenance
  • Begin cold calling with coaching and feedback
  • Gain exposure to pricing discussions, objections, and proposal reviews
  • Develop confidence speaking with prospective clients
Weeks 5-8+: Independent Contribution
  • Conduct market research projects independently
  • Support lead generation initiatives
  • Perform cold calling with minimal supervision
  • Participate in advanced sales discussions and forecasting exposure
  • Gain a realistic understanding of day-to-day sales operations
