What the day will look like

  • This position works closely with all Middle Market brokers across Property and Casualty products, as well as outside sources such as carriers, and other Aon Practices
  • Provide support/partnership to leadership in developing practice initiatives
  • Maintain and/or build relationships with carrier executive leadership and senior product and client segment leadership
  • Support Practice leadership for continued development of the talent pipeline
  • Provides input and oversight in new business initiatives and activity

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Management of carrier relationships in the market to ensure proper compensation and knowledge for increasing the value we receive from our trading partners
  • Work with third party intermediaries on behalf of clients and carriers
  • Support and drive growth and innovation plans and strategy in connection with leadership
  • Increase team connectivity within the Practice
  • Serve as an expert and internal resource on market trends, pricing practices, risk transfer and risk control products, insurance carrier appetites/capabilities/practices and other underwriting developments.
  • Work closely with the U.S. Broking Office Leaders, Account Executives, Account Managers and others in designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain the solutions that best meet client's exposures and needs
  • Minimum of 15 years experience and demonstrable record of successfully managing teams or team members at Aon or previous organization
  • Growth Oriented individual contributor
  • Solid Carrier Relations in the Market
  • Comfort learning and using new systems and applications
  • Ability to understand, analyze and apply data and analytics
  • Promote Innovation
  • Current insurance license or ability to quickly acquire insurance producer's license in all applicable states.
  • Support Account Executives and Production teams throughout the country in sales and other campaigns

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $300K to $400K. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
