What You'll Do:
- The Tester must multitask in a manufacturing environment and may be needed to perform specialized tests and perform rework procedures as directed by supervision.
- Must maintain adequate throughput with high levels of quality while working in a dark room environment.
- Use the electrical or mechanical equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, current, voltage meters, dial calipers and indicators, height gauges, micrometers, and microscopes.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, testing, quality inspection, or production environments.
What Sets You Apart:
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be able to work alone and with others in a dark room environment.
- Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to job.
- Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English.
- Working knowledge of electrical or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology.
- Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production).
- Soldering certification.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Ability to become familiar with Six Sigma problem solving tools, 5S and Lean methodologies.
- Good communication skills.
- Teamwork oriented.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision if necessary.
- Ability to make quality decisions quickly.
- Patience.
