Join a global technology leader driving the future of subsea fiber optic communications. We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to develop next-generation high-reliability electrical systems supporting critical undersea and terminal-based network infrastructure used worldwide.

This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer with expertise in analog and digital circuit design, PCB development, firmware integration, and high-speed electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and simulate analog and digital circuits for advanced communication systems
• Develop high-reliability PCB assemblies and fault-tolerant circuit boards
• Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and product qualification
• Collaborate with electrical, optical, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
• Create and execute design verification and manufacturing test procedures
• Work with microcontrollers, FPGAs, DACs, ADCs, DC/DC converters, and communication buses including SPI, I2C, and RS-232
• Support firmware integration and GUI-based test tool development
• Participate in DFMEA, design reviews, and continuous product improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 10+ years of electrical engineering and product development experience
• Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and PCB development
• Experience with OrCAD, Spice/PSpice, LabVIEW, C/C++, or Python
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC, power electronics, and signal conditioning
• Fiber optic or electro-optic component experience is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills
