Job Description

The University of Missouri Office of Human Resources provides leadership in the planning, integration, and implementation of Human Resource services and programs for faculty and staff across the organization. Collectively with campus colleagues, we serve as a strategic and trusted advisor, support a dynamic culture and workforce, and pursue continuous improvement through knowledge, collaboration, and leadership.

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Senior Human Resources Consultant, Learning and Organizational Development to design, deliver and continuously improve learning experiences that build leadership and supervisory capability across the University of Missouri System. This role will support the development and scaling of compliance-focused supervisor training programs, targeted supervisor communications, select staff development initiatives and flagship leadership development programming. Additionally, this role will manage administrative processes related to executive coaching vendors and program management.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic program architect and a skilled practitioner, designing and championing innovative programs while also facilitating training, managing complex program logistics, and continuously refining solutions based on outcomes and feedback.

Responsibilities
* Develop and scale a system-wide supervisor training program, including compliance curriculum and core supervisory skill development
* Design, coordinate, and facilitate live training sessions in both virtual and in-person formats
* Develop and maintain a supervisor communication series that translates policies, initiatives, and best practices into clear, actionable guidance
* Support the planning, logistics and facilitation of flagship leadership development programs
* Manage the administrative processes related to the coordination of external executive coaching services
* Lead the content strategy and coordination of an existing biannual, system-wide staff development event

Shift

40/week
Monday-Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong service orientation and ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with leaders and staff
* Experience designing and facilitating training programs in virtual and in-person formats
* Prior supervisory experience to inform training and coaching of supervisors
* Experience interpreting and educating on policies related to supervisory responsibilities
* Experience managing and coordinating the services of external partners

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000 annually

Grade: GGS-011
