About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will be a creative powerhouse, leading the concepting and development of marketing ideas for large signature events, brand activations, and custom campaigns. You will set and implement the overarching creative strategy and vision for high-level projects, ensuring consistent creative excellence and impact. What You'll Do

• Lead and develop groundbreaking creative ideas for experiential events, branded activations, and select sponsorships, setting new benchmarks for engagement.
• Set and implement the overarching creative strategy, direction, and vision for high-level projects and events, ensuring consistent creative excellence and impact.
• Lead strategic creative sessions to develop compelling stories and multifaceted concepts that are deeply aligned with core business objectives.
• Translate complex client objectives into clear, actionable strategies by crafting powerful messages, stories, and concepts for each unique event.
• Proactively pitch innovative work with persuasive creative thinking, thorough research, and compelling visual storytelling that captivates audiences.
• Guide your team in creating forward-thinking creative strategies, briefs, and storyboards that not only align with current event trends but also anticipate future innovations.
• Facilitate dynamic creative brainstorming sessions, introducing fresh perspectives and continually elevating the brand and event experiences.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering their creative development, growth, and professional aspirations.
• Collaborate with management to identify, develop, and promote team skills and services, strengthening our collective creative capabilities.
• Drive creative quality and consistency across all experiential event support, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our commitment to excellence.
• Continuously seek new opportunities to drive innovation and introduce fresh ways of thinking, keeping our creative approach at the cutting edge.

Must-Have Qualifications

• A strong creative, digital, and event portfolio showcasing strategic ideas and impactful visual storytelling across varying experiential touchpoints in a B2B environment.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital design, or a related creative discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight years of progressive event experience as a Creative Director or as a Creative Director in a full-service event agency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of event and creative industry practices, digital trends, innovation, and cutting-edge technology.
• Advanced creative conceptual design skills with the proven ability to critically evaluate and elevate colleagues' concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to concept and develop outstanding creative with teams, effectively sell ideas to clients, and adapt at every step of the process.
• Strong experience pitching complex concepts and big ideas with clear strategic intent, simplifying business complexities for diverse audiences.
• A strong influencer, collaborator, and consensus builder with excellent client relationship-building and teaming skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing designers, particularly in a virtual environment, focusing on conceptual and presentation skills, and providing constructive written feedback for growth.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a creative team, delegate effectively, and foster strong teamwork.
• A passion for continuous learning, staying current with design trends, and effectively sharing knowledge across the team.
• Superb communication and presentation skills, active listening, and diplomacy when working with diverse team members and business partners.
• Agility and resilience in a fast-paced environment, consistently producing high-quality work under pressure.
• Advanced knowledge of graphics software tools including Adobe Creative Suite, proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, working seamlessly in both PC and Mac environments.
• Ability to travel onsite to support events as needed.
