Job Title: Working Leaderman (Welding)

Location: Houma, LA

Position Overview: A Structural Welding Working Leaderman is responsible for leading his/her craft in the successful implementation of production activities as it relates to associated shipbuilding and/or repair functions in addition to performing craft specific operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Must be familiar with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction.

* Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors.

* Must have a strong focus on quality, production, safety and environmental aspects of work being performed.

Qualifications:

* The ideal candidate must have at least 3 to 5 years of craft-specific experience performing structural welding functions.

Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to interpret standard construction drawings.

* Basic knowledge of Structural Fitting specific processes and techniques.
