Facilities Specialist I State of Connecticut Judicial Branch Hartford The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Facilities Unit is seeking a Facilities Specialist I whose responsibilities will include: conducts facility inspections and identifies items to be addressed with proposed action plans; monitors the Unit's web-based work order system and dispatches service calls; acts as a liaison with other operating units, agencies and outside officials regarding Facilities programs; assists with the administration of preventative maintenance contracts; assists with Code related projects; problem resolution and lease compliance in Judicial occupied lease space; maintaining capital project priority list; prepares reports and correspondence; performs related duties as required. The selected candidate will respond to after hour emergency situations as necessary. Please note, this is a re-posting of posting number 26-3000-001. Applicants from that posting will be considered and need not re-apply. Salary Range: $84,852 - $111,234/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING General Experience: Five years of professional experience in the field of facilities management. Substitution Allowed: 1) College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours equaling one-half year of experience to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor's degree. 2) One year as an Administrative Trainee in the Facilities Unit may be substituted for the General Experience.
