Description The Senior Technical Trainer delivers high-volume technical instruction and supports development of training programs. This role includes training delivery and mentorship of Associate Trainers. This role supports a structured, high-volume training program preparing entry-level technicians to become data center fiber installers. Trainers will deliver pre-built curriculum in a classroom and lab environment. Both Associate and Senior Trainers are responsible for delivering training, managing the classroom, supervising learners, preparing training environments, and completing administrative tasks (grading, reporting, assessments). Trainers will also provide feedback to program leadership and serve as subject matter experts as needed. Core focus areas include safety, instruction, coaching, and facilitating learning in both classroom and lab environments. Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on best practices, safety, and technical instruction Lead classroom sessions of 24-30 students at a time Provide mentorship and guidance to Associate Trainers during delivery Deliver training 5 days per week in a structured schedule Simplify complex technical concepts for entry-level learners with little to no prior experience Partner with another trainer (Senior/Associate model) to co-deliver sessions Deliver technical training including lecture, labs, and assessments Coach and develop Associate Trainers Support training program improvements and curriculum development Track and analyze training performance Partner with SMEs and leadership Skills telecom, data center, structured cabling, technical training, adult learning, field/copper installation, instruction/facilitation, Instruction, Leadership, BICSI, Instructional Design, Training Development, Coaching, Curriculum Development Top Skills Details telecom,data center,structured cabling,technical training,adult learning,field/copper installation,instruction/facilitation,Instruction,Leadership Additional Skills & Qualifications BICSI certification preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Strong problem-solving ability Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
