Job Description

To be an innovative, publicly accountable and locally controlled comprehensive healthcare organization which cares for the sick, relieves suffering, and provides quality, cost competitive services to improve the health and well-being of our community.

Providestechnical advice, projectmanagementand written deliverables tofacilitateachievement of the hospital's budgetary and operationalobjectives,leveragingAI-powered tools and analytics to drive data-driven decision making. Acts as a liaison between Finance and department managers for financial performance and budget variance reporting,utilizingAI-assisted analysis to surface actionable insights. Works with the management team to create annual capital and operating budgets, bi-weekly productivity monitoring, and monthly variance analysis, applying machine learningmodelsand predictive analytics whereappropriate. Requires independentproblem solvingskills in areas of data reconciliation and financial performance analysis, including the ability to prompt, evaluate, and iterate on AI-generated outputs. Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including new departmentsor programs system set up, AI tool evaluation and implementation, and problem solving around system and budget variances. THIS POSITION IS AN ONSITE HYBRID ROLE IN MOUNTAIN VIEW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HealthcareManagementor related field.

• Two (2) years' experience in an analyst or similar position in healthcare, preferably in an acute hospital setting having related responsibilities and duties.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for financial modeling, variance analysis, and reporting automation; prompt engineering skillsstronglypreferred.

• Experience with vibe coding or AI-assisted development to build financial tools, dashboards, or automated reporting workflows preferred.

• Solid understanding of decision support systems, cost accountingprinciplesand financial systems.

• Experience with decision support system,ieTSI, EPSI, Meditech, McKesson HPM or similar preferred.

• Advanced Excel and Python/SQL skillsrequired; experience automating financial analysis workflows using AI-assisted codingtoolsastrong plus.
