We have an upcoming need for a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Sugar Land chemical manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership and employees to deliver HR solutions that support safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

On site with some remote opportunities after onboarding

* Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders in a manufacturing and safety-sensitive environment.

* Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on human resources matters, including employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.

* Support HR core processes such as annual merit reviews, bonus payouts, and organizational changes.

* Partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and plant leadership to reinforce policies, procedures, and a strong safety culture.

* Utilize HR system data and reporting to analyze headcount, turnover, and workforce trends; develop scorecards and insights to support business decisions.

* Support recruiting efforts by partnering with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers, including onboarding of hourly and salaried employees.

* Conduct and support employee relations activities, including documentation, and corrective actions, as needed.

* Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.

* Manage HR transactions in our HR system and ensure data accuracy and compliance.

* Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree required

* 3 years of applicable Human Resources or related experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing plant environment

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Prior HR experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments

* Experience supporting hourly employee populations and shift operations

* Prior experience with HR systems

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Demonstrated people agility and ability to navigate ambiguity and change

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 - $35/hr.

Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
