Website Project Manager

Long-term Contract (6 months with possibility to extend)

Northern Suburbs of Chicago- 3 days onsite (Tues/Wed/Thursday), 2 days remote

This is a NON-IT role

Our client, a global pharmaceutical client is seeking a long-term Website Product Specialist to support the Web Channel team in the execution of brand website initiatives on our client's digital marketing platform. This individual will work closely with Brand Marketing, agency partners, Analytics, Marketing Operations, and Technology teams to help move website work through established processes efficiently and accurately. This role is execution-oriented requires the individual to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support web projects in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

This role is a blend of technical ability and knowledge, SEO/GEO, SEM, AI and experience working in AEM (or similar).

Top 3 - 5 Skills:

1. 3-5 Years experience in Website Operations, Digital Marketing, content management web coordination or a related field

2. Experience working with Marketing, Agency, or technical partners in a matrixed environment

3. Working knowledge of enterprise CMS platforms, preferably AEM or similar systems

4. Familiarity with website content updates, QA processes, and launch support

5. Strong project coordination, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:



  • Execute approved website updates, content changes, and enhancements for assigned brand site(s)
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to support website deliverables through the implementation process
  • Assist with launch readiness, release coordination, and post-launch follow-up
  • Support content authoring, QA, and MRP submission for in-scope website updates and priority requests
  • Help maintain governance processes, workflow documentation, and execution standards
  • Partner with analytics and marketing teams to support tagging, reporting, and performance monitoring
  • Contribute to testing and optimization efforts, including A/B test coordination and basic analysis support
  • Assist with personalization and targeted content initiatives as directed
  • Monitor site operations and escalate issues to help maintain stability and performance
  • Help identify practical solutions to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline web workflows and increase efficiency
  • Assist in gathering and documenting requirements for approved website enhancements
  • Support implementation of content and platform updates across web properties
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure priorities, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned
  • Guide internal and external partners through established web processes and governance standards
  • Support mobile-first and user-centered web best practices
  • Contribute to new ways of working that improve speed, quality, and consistency


Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years of experience in website operations, digital marketing, content management, web coordination, or a related field
  • Experience working with marketing, agency, and technical partners in a matrixed environment
  • Working knowledge of enterprise CMS platforms, preferably Adobe Experience Manager or similar systems
  • Familiarity with website content updates, QA processes, and launch support
  • Understanding of Agile or iterative digital delivery processes
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
  • Strong project coordination, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
