Location: Sterling Heights

Pay Rate: Up to $43.50/hour

We are seeking an experienced Production Control & Inventory Specialist for a temporary assignment supporting automotive plant operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in inventory management, material planning, and production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production control activities including part follow-up, plant scheduling, and inventory tracking
• Analyze inventory data, ensure record accuracy, and support cycle count compliance
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve material shortages and delivery issues
• Support engineering change management and maintain updated inventory records
• Act as a liaison between plant operations, supply chain, and corporate teams
• Monitor material flow to prevent disruptions to production throughput
• Participate in warehouse activities, including raw material tracking and reconciliation

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, production planning, or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in manufacturing or automotive environments preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
• Proficiency with inventory systems and reporting tools
