Position Summary Supports DSCC's mission by developing and maintaining enterprise analytics and data engineering solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. The role enhances existing BI assets-including Power BI reports, semantic models, and automated refresh processes-while building scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.This position leverages modern cloud and big data technologies such as Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark to ingest, process, and analyze large and diverse datasets. Responsibilities include designing ETL/ELT workflows, optimizing data models, and supporting lakehouse architecture for reporting and advanced analytics. Working with DSCC business units and the PMO, the role applies statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and automation to identify trends and deliver predictive insights. The position also supports DSCC's Reporting and Data Governance Framework. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence/reporting roles. Knowledge - Expert level proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, Data Science/big data concepts, and ETL development; data engineering, cloud data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric), understanding of healthcare data and PHI compliance. Skills - Data visualization, SQL query writing, ETL Data Pipeline Development and management (Python, SQL, Spark,), Power BI development, and report documentation. Abilities - Ability to collaborate with project managers and business analysts, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and work with care coordination teams.
