About the role:

The NA IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager is the point of contact for site and business leaders located in the NA region for IT Infrastructure issues or change requests related to the IT infrastructure. This person is responsible for the computing, network, voice, printing, and mobile infrastructure environment for Trinseo. The individual will support the Service Level Agreements for IT systems, and supports level 2 technical issues associated with Desktop, Printing and mobile issues. Working with our compliance team to ensure ITIL asset management and managing the IT Field Engineers for the region. This role will also take a leading role in global cloud hosting.



Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Leads the IT Infrastructure Operations in the NA region, by managing the EUC regional team and ensuring all incidents and requests are following the agreed Service Levels. Part of the escalation process and first point of contact for the Major Incidents during EU hours.

Leads the Cloud Hosting services by managing the Cloud engineers, internal and external support teams. Being the first point of contact for new requirements or initiatives where hosting or storage services are required. Organize regular meetings with the Microsoft Product managers on changes in the Azure environment. Ensure all other IT teams are informed about the changes and understand the impact of the overall IT services.

Lead or contribute to IT Infrastructure projects, like office moves, workstation replacement projects and new integration projects. Act as the first point of contact for new Infrastructure requests and brings new demand to the IT PMO for resource management and planning.

Managing the IT Field Engineers and contractors in the EMEA region, leads the weekly meetings and monitors the individual performance, and supports their development plans. Ensures there is a strong collaboration between the various IT teams and maintain a high engagement of the team members.

Creates and maintains a strong relationship with site leaders and business stakeholders in the NA region. Act as the first point of contact for IT Infrastructure changes at the sites and ensures site budgets are including any improvements for site infrastructure maintenance. The relationship management includes vendor and chemical park relationships.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required:

* BS in Engineering, IT or Computer Science or relevant experience

* Ten or more years of IT experience, preferably within management, End User Support and Hosting services

* Previous experience as a people manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Willing to learn new skills, open to change, adaptable, and customer focused.

* Good knowledge about Cloud hosting, IP Networks, Windows Operating system, Printer solutions, Operational support solutions, ServiceNow, ITSM
