As our AVP/VP Treasury Relationship Manager, you'll play a key role in growing core deposits, delivering bestinclass treasury solutions, and building trusted relationships that fuel long-term member success.

What You'll Do (Your Impact)

  • Grow Deposits & Fee Income by developing new treasury and deposit relationships across business, commercial, municipal, and individual segments through referrals and self-sourced efforts.
  • Retain, Cultivate & Expand Relationships by actively managing and growing an existing portfolio of treasury and deposit members.
  • Partner for Success by collaborating closely with the Commercial Lending team to win opportunities and deliver integrated financial solutions.
  • Lead the Sales Process by scheduling and running client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and managing the full treasury services sales and implementation lifecycle.
  • Deliver Treasury Solutions by recommending, onboarding, and implementing the full suite of treasury management products and services for new and existing members.
  • Support Department Strategy by partnering with the VP of Treasury Management on department initiatives, planning, and strategies to generate deposits and grow fee income.
  • CrossSell Summit Solutions through referrals and self-generated opportunities that deepen relationships and meet member needs.
  • Ensure Seamless Onboarding & Service by supporting account opening and servicing activities for commercial members as needed.
  • Strengthen Market Presence by proactively building partnerships and strategic alliances that elevate Summit's brand and competitive positioning.

  • Business deposit and fee income growth goals are met or exceeded.
  • Member requests are prioritized and responded to quickly and effectively.
  • Treasury services are thoughtfully recommended and successfully implemented.
  • Existing member business is retained and expanded.

  • Comprehensive business development plans drive annual budget goals.
  • New business is consistently attained through meaningful relationship building.
  • Treasury Management functions operate smoothly, compliantly, and are prepared for regulatory updates.
  • Summit gains actionable market intelligence to deliver competitive, bestinclass service.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury management, commercial banking, and/or business banking sales.
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, processes, and commercial lines of business.
  • Highly selfmotivated, adaptable, and goaloriented with a positive, creative mindset.
  • Excellent ability to listen, analyze, and communicate complex information clearly and persuasively-verbally and in writing.
  • Proven skill in building and nurturing trusted professional relationships with members, prospects, and internal partners.
  • Ability to prioritize key objectives, solve problems, analyze data, and draw sound conclusions.
  • Comfort working independently in an unstructured environment while taking ownership of outcomes.
  • Ability to measure ROI on marketing and sales efforts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Collaborative, flexible team player who can adapt as priorities shift.

Physical Demands of Position
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 pounds. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.


Environmental/Working Conditions
Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
