The impact you'll make

Within the Global Products Group, the Product Regulatory Compliance Organization is dedicated to the successful implementation and control of restricted materials, regulatory, safety, cybersecurity, and sustainability requirements across Lam's product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle.

As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you will lead cross-functional regulatory compliance programs from initiation through delivery. You will directly contribute to ensuring Lam delivers compliant products globally, reduces regulatory and business risk, and supports customer and sustainability commitments through disciplined execution, governance, and traceability.

What you'll do
  • Lead end-to-end execution of global product regulatory compliance programs
  • Translate regulatory and sustainability requirements into actionable technical execution plans
  • Partner with Engineering, Software & Controls, Product Safety, Sustainability SMEs, IT, EHS, Trade, Analytics, and Legal
  • Integrate regulatory and sustainability requirements into Product Development & Release (PDR) and eDMS workflows
  • Support sustainability reporting, ESG metrics, and customer inquiries
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and dashboard reporting to support compliance programs
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps; drive mitigation and escalation
  • Lead change management to ensure long-term adoption of compliance controls
Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, Master's with 6+ years, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of technical program management or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs in regulated environments
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills
  • Ability to read and interpret regulatory texts and convert them into technical execution
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience supporting Product Regulatory Compliance, Product Safety, or Sustainability programs
  • Semiconductor or advanced manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with Product Development & Release (PDR) processes
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or formal project management methodologies
  • Experience leveraging automation or AI for process optimization
  • Exposure to cybersecurity or software-related regulatory requirements

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $104,000.00 -$231,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
