Description

Job purpose



Manage all activities in the Warranty Departments at the branch level. Oversee the investigations of the claims process. Verify coverage of machines and audit the claims process for each business unit/branch. Provide research and resolution to escalated warranty issues between branches and Manufacturers.



Duties and responsibilities




  • Train Warranty Personnel to understand the most current manufacturers' warranty policies
  • Train and guide technician, admin and management at the branch level in the warranty process.
  • Identify and implement process improvement within the Warranty Department and branch levels.
  • Implement best warranty practices at the branch level.
  • Follow up on all rejected and partial paid claims with branch personnel
  • Audit branch, claim submissions are received within 30 day guidelines set forth by manufacturer
  • Review internal trend system for all aged warranty jobs
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Qualifications




  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a heavy equipment dealer/distributor
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with claims administration and or customer service
  • GED or High School Diploma

  • Display analytical skills necessary to resolve conflict
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to motivate and manager an experience team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
