Construction Scheduler - Temporary

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $75-$125/hour

Duration: 6-12 Month Assignment

Travel: Up to 50% to Billings, MT, and other project sites

Per Diem: $125/day

We are hiring an experienced Construction Scheduler for a temporary contract opportunity supporting a refinery portfolio of capital and small projects. This role is ideal for a skilled scheduler with strong Primavera P6 experience and a background in downstream, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial construction projects.

You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules for multiple projects in active development stages that must be executed ahead of a major Spring 2027 turnaround.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain construction project schedules using Primavera P6
• Build logic-driven CPM schedules and resource-loaded plans
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules
• Analyze schedule variance, critical path, and overall project health
• Provide schedule forecasting, reporting, and recovery recommendations
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and field teams
• Support planning and scheduling efforts with minimal oversight

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of construction scheduling experience
• Background in downstream refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects required
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience required
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, CPM, and project controls methodologies
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
