Summary:

The Procurement Sr. Analyst (P2) supports enterprise sourcing, contracting, and vendor management activities for assigned categories. This role executes defined sourcing and procurement processes, partners with stakeholders under established governance, and mitigates risk through disciplined adherence to procurement, legal, and third party risk standards. The role operates with moderate guidance and is critical to ensuring continuity of procurement execution as category complexity and demand continue to increase.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Sourcing and Category Execution:

  • Execute sourcing activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ) for assigned projects or categories using established procurement frameworks and templates.
  • Support development and execution of category strategies aligned to enterprise priorities, cost optimization goals, and risk tolerance.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sourcing decisions and award recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, data driven sourcing summaries and recommendations for stakeholder and leadership review.

Contracting & Commercial Negotiation:

  • Negotiate commercial contract terms (pricing, SLAs, service scope, warranties, termination, etc.) within approved guardrails, escalating complex issues as required.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, Information Security, and Risk teams to ensure contracts meet enterprise requirements.
  • Drive timely contract execution to avoid service disruption or unapproved spend.

Vendor Management & Governance:

  • Serve as primary procurement point of contact for assigned vendors.
  • Establish and oversee ongoing vendor governance activities, including performance tracking against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Monitor vendor performance, identify issues or risks, and coordinate remediation plans with stakeholders.
  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and vendor performance reporting.

Stakeholder Partnership:

  • Act as a trusted procurement advisor for assigned business partners by translating business needs into compliant sourcing and contracting solutions.
  • Communicate procurement outcomes, timelines, and risks clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support stakeholder adoption of procurement processes and tools to drive consistency and compliance.

Risk, Compliance, & Process Adherence:

  • Ensure sourcing and contracting activities comply with enterprise procurement policies, thirdparty risk requirements, and audit standards.
  • Identify and escalate risks related to vendor dependency, contract structure, service continuity, or compliance gaps.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve control effectiveness.

Tools & Operational Excellence:

  • Utilize enterprise procurement systems to manage sourcing events, approvals, contracts, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support audits, reporting, and leadership transparency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement templates, playbooks, and standard work.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for negotiation and skilled in forging mutually beneficial vendor partnerships to achieve objectives.
  • Proven ability in data-driven analysis to provide strategic insights, support negotiations, and contribute to better decision-making and innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of contract law with experience assessing and mitigating risk.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and demonstrating effective collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: prioritize and maintain accurate documentation while managing high volumes.
  • Ability to utilize enterprise procurement systems to manage sourcing events, approvals, contracts, and reporting.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation to support audits, reporting, and leadership transparency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a procurement or procurement related job with some degree of vendor management.
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on business or risk management.
  • Experience around using AI tools (i.e. Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT)

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$59,400.00 - $109,200.00
