The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify). General Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Asset Strategy Organization is responsible for developing both portfolio-wide and individual asset strategies to achieve the Company's Breakthrough Goals of Safety, Compliance, Asset Reliability, and Cost Competitiveness (Customer Value). These strategies support all Company Electric Supply assets, including combustion turbines, combined-cycle plants, hydro plants, wind farms, solar gardens, and future renewable resources such as battery storage. The Asset Availability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and availability of generation assets across the utility's portfolio. This individual will analyze operational data, understand and apply benchmarking data, assess system health, and identify threats to generation to proactively mitigate risks. The role requires strong analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Program Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines required to successfully execute projects. This role plans projects, establishes project criteria, coordinates project reviews, and ensures proper implementation of all project elements. The Senior Program Engineer is accountable for scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure accuracy and quality from project conception through completion.
