About The Role

Summary

The Loan Operating Services Specialist performs and analyzes consumer retail and commercial loan ancillary systems, software and vendor services. This position looks for opportunities to optimize the loan business processes. This position works closely with Credit Administration, Customer Experience, Business Applications, Compliance, Loan Operating Systems Specialist and the Bank Divisions to identify and define business needs and standardize loan operational workflows. Reports to Corporate Loan Operating Services Supervisor.

This is a Corporate position which may be located in an available bank division across our nine-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY.

All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

WA Applicants ONLY range:

Spokane: $27.91 to $41.86/hour

Wentachee: $28.30 to $42.44/hour

Description

  • Participate on project management teams for Consumer Retail and Commercial ancillary software and vendor implementations and maintains current systems and software, releases, integration and testing. Work to optimize loan process functionality. Perform non-technical and some technical system administration. Ensure loan systems meet legal and regulatory requirements, working closely with Business Applications and Compliance.
  • Manage and monitor Credit Bureau coding accuracy, fatal error reports from each bureau and work with divisions to correct issues. Manage e-Oscar set, route and track status with divisions. Ensure all regulatory requirements of FACTA, FCRA, etc. are being followed.
  • Participate in data integrity verification of the ancillary products in relationship to data in the core system and perform report reviews and coordinate maintenance and correct with the division banks.
  • Perform Quality Control Division reviews for audit identified service related processes. Work with Corporate Loan Services/Systems Supervisor to proactively identify control gaps or control deficiencies, and continue development of the Corporate Loan Operation quality control program. Organize, participate and report findings to Corporate Management. This includes but is not limited to quality control and reporting of SOX, newly developed procedures and other identified audit exceptions in all areas of Corporate Loan Operations. The quality control will enhance the first line of defense and highlight training opportunities at the division level.
  • Provide loan ancillary product, process and credit bureau customer support to the division banks. Work directly with loan operation users to troubleshoot business questions and/or issues and, as necessary, engage Business Application, Compliance and /or Management to resolve. Participate/coordinate the writing of procedures for loan operations, processes and other areas as assigned.
  • Participate and help manage the M&A conversion detail and mapping for a successful addition to our Glacier Bank Family of Banks. This will include meeting attendance, research in various loan areas, systems and mapping. Follow through with assisting in any post conversion clean-up and training where necessary.
  • Manage vendors and system providers to utilize application to fullest capacity and may process vendor payments.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

Additional Requirements

Travel

Up to 15% travel required: (e.g. 3.5 days/month) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Travel will be necessary to conduct the duties of this job, and the employee must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
