The Role
As an entry level Collections/Financial Analyst, you will be a vital member of the Collections Team, sitting at the heart of our Order-to-Cash (O2C) process. In this role, you will be accountable for supporting and enabling diversity and belonging while bridging the gap between traditional finance and modern data science. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, but you will do so by leveraging Snowflake's own world-class data tools. You will use AI-driven products to prioritize outreach, turning traditional collections into a high-tech strategy.

We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated individual who is capable of prioritizing multiple responsibilities while meeting goals and deadlines. This role will be a key contributor to an exciting, fast-paced, high growth organization. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a desire to help strengthen our collection process to scale with the company's long-term goals, a successful collector who is adept at analyzing data and possesses a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform outbound collections tasks in a professional manner with a focus on customer service while adhering to Company policies

  • Perform analysis of credit and collection practices

  • Help categorize customer accounts within Collections platform

  • Collaborate with internal sales and other cross-functional teams, as well as external customers, to resolve credit and collection issues promptly and effectively

  • Completion of vendor onboarding forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Manage and execute the end-to-end collections process for a diverse portfolio of customers, maintaining Snowflake's high standard for customer experience and relationship management

  • Leverage AI-powered financial tools to predict delinquency risks and automate routine communications, allowing you to focus on high-value negotiations

  • Help build for the future by identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows while ensuring our financial practices reflect Snowflake's core values

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's in Finance or related concentration

  • Proficiency in SQL is a basic requirement

  • Knowledge of Python is preferred

  • 2 - 3 years of finance work experience is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong customer service orientation

  • Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to change priorities in a challenging and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Ideal candidate will have interest and academic background in Analytics, Finance, Business, Accounting or relatable field of study

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace

  • A strong desire to master AI-driven financial products and machine-learning workflows

  • The ability to negotiate effectively with customers while clearly communicating technical or financial insights to internal stakeholders

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $78,700.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
