Success requires a strong, visible leadership presence, realtime coaching, and the ability to identify and eliminate recurring operational issues. The ideal candidate is energetic, takes ownership, and a collaborative leader who leverages SAP and WMS tools -along with Lean or Six Sigma principles - to align work to team capabilities, hold teams accountable, and continuously raise performance, safety, and quality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain a highly visible leadership presence on the floor (60-70% of time) to enforce operational standards in real time and quickly address issues as they arise.
  • Enforce all safety standards and regulatory requirements, modeling expected behaviors and ensuring strict adherence to PPE and safe work practices.
  • Provide immediate, in-the-moment coaching based on observed behaviors, performance gaps, and audit findings to strengthen execution and capability.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues, identify systemic failures, and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure strict execution of WMS and SAP processes, eliminating workaround behaviors and reinforcing standard work.
  • Plan and adjust labor deployment by preparing work schedules, prioritizing assignments, and aligning staffing to workload and competency.
  • Own team performance outcomes, including accuracy, throughput, quality, and service, and take accountability for results.
  • Coordinate and oversee receiving, storage, and shipping activities, ensuring compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Inventory Control, IT, Quality, and Operations leadership to resolve issues and improve endtoend performance.
  • Analyze operational data and support reporting, using insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Step into hands-on execution when required to support the team during absences, peak volumes, or operational disruptions.
  • Continuously improve processes, standards, and team capability, strengthening operational discipline and long-term performance.
