The Robotics Engineering team is an Enterprise Level organization that is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing Robotics and Automation technology into all areas of the Shipyard. Robotics Engineering is seeking an Experienced Engineer to join our team. About this role: The Robotics Engineering Group provides continued support to ongoing automation and robotic shipyard operations as well as addresses emerging construction and business needs. This organization focuses on developing robotic systems and applications to support production. The group is responsible for implementation, hardware / software selection, system / process expertise, and construction support. Group members serve as subject matter experts on robotics and automation and are a resource for identifying and exploiting robotics opportunities at Electric Boat. Robotic Engineering drives projects and new technology insertion, ensures requirements are met, develops procedures, procures machines, performs / tests capabilities, and implements robotic systems.
