A vital member of our marketing team, the Content Strategist leads impactful content campaigns and crafts key messages that align with the university's brand message and strategic goals. This role partners with students and faculty to develop engaging, multimedia content-including video for social and other digital channels-in support of Creighton University's strategic initiatives. The Content Strategist develops content that resonates with our target audiences across a multitude of channels. The Content Strategist is a collaborator, working with the rest of the marketing and communications team-writers, designers and strategists-to bring Creighton's stories to life in a way that pushes the brand forward. Part strategist and part doer, the Content Strategist plans, develops, executes and measures comprehensive omni-channel digital content campaigns. The Content Strategist develops content distribution plans and multimedia content in support of the university's strategic initiatives. This role uses data to identify insights on content performance and builds data-driven content strategies. Working cross-functionally, the Content Strategist drives ideation for original content, recommends effective distribution strategies, develops content, and builds and improves processes to support efficient content creation and distribution. The Content Strategist will: Essential Functions Develop content strategy briefs and planning documents for the University, and support the University's overall content strategy by ensuring all content supports the brand and strategic/business goals. Guide the creation, distribution and governance of useful content that meets strategic goals across all channels. Research, write, develop and edit new and existing content that supports the University's content strategy and internal communications across all channels, including the website and social media. Collaborate with marketing, creative, social media and web teams to plan and optimize content for university channels. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Proven ability and experience in building brands through digital content and content marketing. | |
