Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Cut & Sew Manufacturing)
Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in a fast-paced cut & sew manufacturing facility. This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring all machinery-including sewing machines, RF welders, lathes, mills, and associated equipment-operates safely and reliably. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial sewing machines, RF welders, and production equipment * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems * Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life * Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues * Install, test, and adjust machinery and equipment as needed * Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation * Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency * Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies * Assist with facility maintenance as needed Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred) * 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills * Basic knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, motors, controls) * Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics systems * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications: * 3 - 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment * Experience in a machine shop, cut & sew, or textile manufacturing environment * Hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines and RF welding equipment * Background in a machine shop or fabrication environment * Experience with PLCs and automated systems * Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels Work Environment: * Industrial manufacturing setting (cut & sew production floor) * Exposure to moving machinery, fabrics, and production materials | |
