OCRTIX Wichita Program Manager

University of Kansas
United States, Kansas, Wichita
Apr 28, 2026
Position Overview
KU's excellence is a result of the rich tapestry of experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds of our faculty, staff, students, and colleagues from across our nation and the globe. At KU we invest in continuous learning and growth by creating a climate where people engage in respectful dialogue and debate and support each other's success. We foster a culture of care where each person is seen, heard, and valued. When people feel a true sense of belonging, we believe they are better able to reach their full potential and achieve remarkable things.

The creation of the Biomedical Center in Wichita will increase the complex structure of KUMC's presence in Wichita. It carries Clery Act risks, concerns with increased visitors to the building/campus, and new opportunities. To address those needs, OCRTIX needs stronger representation in Wichita to meet those needs and to seize those opportunities. OCRTIX is creating a new position that will address all areas of OCRTIX's responsibilities, including but not limited to Clery Act compliance, Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act compliance, civil rights reporting and compliance at the Wichita campus with some assistance serving Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) and KUMC-Salina, and support for education and training initiatives.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator. They will have the aptitude to work independently, multitask, take initiative, the ability to adapt, and handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Additionally, they must be able to take direction, display strong ethical decision-making and work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple campuses.

The Program Manager will serve as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, conduct intake meetings with potential complainants, present on targeted issues as well as general OCRTIX subjects, and represent OCRTIX among KUMC-related Wichita constituents.

Reporting to the OCRTIX Director of Intake, Outreach, Compliance, and Operations with a dotted line to the KUMC Director of Impact and Belonging, this position partners with colleagues across the larger One University office to advance institutional priorities.
