As a Mortgage Servicing Document Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring a seamless final step in the mortgage journey. From document completion to lien release, your work ensures accuracy, compliance, and peace of mind for our members.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll help bring each loan to completion by ensuring all final documentation is accurate, complete, and properly recorded.

  • Review, track, and process final mortgage documents including recorded mortgages, titles, and insuring documents

  • Prepare and confirm mortgage discharges in accordance with county requirements

  • Ensure mortgage liens are properly released once loans are satisfied

  • Monitor outstanding documentation and proactively follow up with title companies, county offices, and internal partners

  • Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for document status and fees

  • Research and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and investor requirements

  • Partner with internal teams, borrowers, and external vendors to answer questions and support a seamless experience

  • Support departmental operations and serve as backup for related mortgage servicing functions

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) is required

  • 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations, loan documentation, or post-closing processes

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Clear, professional communication skills when working with members, partners, and colleagues

  • Knowledge of mortgage documentation, lien release processes, and regulatory requirements preferred

  • Experience with systems such as Encompass, MSP, or Fiserv DNA is a plus

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Starting Compensation:$20.00 - $22.00/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
