Locations: New York, NY -- Remote

Job Description:

  • Perform routine operational tasks following established procedures.
  • Monitor production systems and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation for compliance and audit.
  • Assist in process improvements and participate in team projects.
  • At senior levels: mentor junior associates and coordinate small workstreams.

Must haves:

  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Self starter
  • Strong Excel skills (filters, pivots, formulas, status tracking)
  • Comfort working with large retailer lists and prioritization
  • Ability to explain technical requirements in plain language
  • Writing clear, concise outreach emails and follow ups
  • Persistence & follow up
  • Staying on top of retailers and vendors without burning relationships
  • Critical thinking
  • Spotting patterns in retailer readiness (e.g., same POS vendor causing delays)
  • Professional confidence
  • Engaging with large national retailers and vendors as a credible program representative
  • Adaptability
  • Adjusting outreach and sequencing based on state priorities or readiness data

Nice to have:

  • Identifying whether a blocker is hardware, software, processor, or certification-related
  • Accurately identifying and capturing issues for escalation
  • Prior experience and knowledge with payments, POS systems, or retail IT
  • Familiarity with government or regulated programs
  • Data analytic skills, with power BI skills
  • Meeting facilitation with internal and external stakeholders
