This role involves planning and delivering lessons in various art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media, while aligning with curriculum standards. The Art Teacher encourages students to explore techniques, develop skills, and express ideas in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining classroom organization, and managing art supplies and equipment safely. The teacher may also coordinate school art displays, exhibitions, or community projects to showcase student work. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school activities are expected.
