Sales Representative - Modernization

Your main responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals, customer objectives, and financial targets.
  • Assess customer needs and secure new business through the effective application of company modernization products and services.
  • Negotiate contract terms that are favorable to the company while meeting customer requirements.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for the sale of company products and services.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships by promptly addressing concerns and ensuring issues are resolved to customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with building owners and property management teams to secure maintenance agreements, renewals, and system updates-whether driven by code compliance or new technology enhancements.
  • Retain and expand the existing customer base while managing accounts receivable for assigned accounts.
  • Source, analyze, and apply competitive intelligence to strengthen the company's competitive position.
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and internal operations teams to ensure alignment, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales cost objectives.
  • Develop and execute negotiation and sales strategies with limited oversight, ensuring alignment with internal product strategies, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the company's financial goals, expectations, and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in company training and professional development programs to enhance knowledge of products, services, systems, and procedures.

What you bring

* Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or minimum of 3 years of industry sales experience.
* Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite software, Lotus Notes, SAP preferred
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent organizational skills
* Good negotiation skills
* Must have good conflict resolution skills


Base Salary $74,800 - $93,500


The above represents the typicalsalaryrange for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only basesalaryand does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
