Job Description Right At School - a place to be a kid! Educator Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students! Part-Time Summer Camp Staff We Call Our Educators: $15.00-$17.00 per hour (based on education & experience) Locations: Dunlap School District areaschools Start Date: May 2026 Required: Must at least 18 years old and have one year of experience working with children in a group licensed childcare or school setting Summer Camp Hours will vary, with part-time shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Please note that you must be able to work this full Monday through Friday schedule. **This role will have the option of working through into our 2026-2027 after-school program when summer camp ends You'll drive the mission by: Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability. Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program's objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages. Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management. Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations. Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel. Job Requirement Ideal Candidates will have the following: Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills Works well in a team environment At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age in a licensed childcare or school setting Ability to lift 25lbs Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed Requirements: Ability to meet state-specific requirements; At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age in a licensed childcare or school setting 18+ years of age Proof of High School diploma/GED required Available to work Monday through Friday or as listed in the above schedule details.
