A Maitre d' for Sushi by Bou takes part in servicing our guests around our beautiful Hotel and you'll be part of a great team of helpful people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. A Maitre d' for Sushi by Bou oversees the daily front-of-house operations for Sushi by Bou, ensuring a seamless, elevated, and guest-focused dining experience. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests, managing reservations, pacing of service, and overall dining room flow while upholding the highest standards of hospitality. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting including working evenings, weekends and holiday availability. Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, prolonged standing and walking or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs., at a continuous schedule. Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 50lbs. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience required including cash handling and customer service. Experience in hospitality a plus. LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: Ability to obtain both Maricopa Health Card (Food Handlers Card) and Alcohol Certificate - required PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Customer Satisfaction: Our customers are what we are about. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something. Safety & Security: The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
