What you will learn and contribute to:

The Component Strategy and Supply organization plays an integral role in the success of Network Infrastructure's component supply chain efficiency. The team has an end-to-end focus, from developing sourcing strategies and driving buffer requirements, to managing component hub partners and collaborating with suppliers to solve critical shortages.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Size buffers for Strategic Inventory (SI)

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure data availability
  • Align with the analytics team to consolidate and produce data templates
  • Assess the demand plan accuracy status, quarter over quarter, and report significant shifts to the Supply Chain for validation
  • Analyze data and collaborate with demand planning to ensure risk measures are set correctly
  • Prepare the review package and present to senior management
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to continue automation and improvement of the SI tool

Manage critical inventory levels

  • Calculate and analyze critical components levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses
  • Produce the safety stock quantities
  • Communicate with buyers at the Hubs and Nokia to fulfill safety stock requirements
  • Manage the obsolete and excess materials and develop strategies for disposition
  • Analyze Aging material and manage material swapping and refreshing date codes
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to continue automation of
  • Inventory management tool

Provide inventory forecasting to Finance

  • Report strategic material movements for the next 24 months for the different categories:
    • On Book Material
    • Off Book material at Hubs
    • Prepaid material at Hubs and Nokia
  • Report any planned strategy changes or allocations
  • Meet with Finance for review

Provide E&O forecasting into Finance

  • Identify E&O material for:
    • On Book Inventory
    • Off Book Inventory
    • Prepaid Inventory
  • Allocate reserves and Inform finance of the forecast and reasoning
  • Meet with finance for review
  • Collaborate with the Material management team for the best open market opportunities
  • Collaborate with the warehouse on deposition strategy for scrap material

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant electronic industry experience in a Purchasing or Supply Chain role
  • Experience with inventory management and financial forecasting
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance)
  • Experience with material requirement planning/enterprise resource planning systems
  • Analytical thinking; detail-oriented personality with data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under the pressure of tight time constraints
