Medical Education Programs Administrators (MEPAs) oversee all aspects of a large education program or multiple programs, and as a result, they operate with additional authority, independence, or level of complexity. MEPAs serve as liaisons among trainees, the administration, and program directors. MEPAs are responsible for recruitment, record maintenance, communications, adherence to accreditation requirements, and curriculum support. They have advanced decision-making authority and operate under limited supervision. Duties can include:
Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma/GED Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience required. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree Experience: Previous experience with graduate medical education Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Exemption Status: This is an exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. Work Arrangement : This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and must be performed fully on-site for the first 3-4 months. After this time, a more hybrid work schedule is possible.
