Job Title: Sr. Manager, Strategy Primary Purpose: The Senior Manager of Strategy plays a key role in shaping Tapestry's growth choices, with a focus on international markets and cross-functional strategy. Working closely with Tapestry leadership, international leaders, and cross-functional partners, this role helps define where and how Tapestry grows globally - grounding decisions in consumer insight, market context, and competitive dynamics. - Define International Growth Priorities
- Shape Tapestry's growth choices across APAC, EMEAI, and new markets
- Assess market attractiveness, consumer dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform where to scale, enter, or deprioritize
- Define "how to win" in priority markets, including implications for brand positioning, consumer targeting, and capabilities
- Partner with international BUs to pressure-test plans and ensure alignment with Tapestry's broader strategy
- Develop Outside-In Perspective to Inform Decisions
- Build clear perspectives on market size, consumer TAM, and growth headroom across priority regions
- Synthesize macro trends, consumer shifts, and competitive dynamics into actionable insights
- Conduct market scans and case studies to inform strategic choices and inspire action
- Translate external insights into implications for brands, regions, and growth priorities
- Partner closely with Strategy & Consumer Insights and cross-functional teams to ensure perspectives are grounded and actionable
- Shape Functional Strategies to Enable Growth
- Partner with functional teams (Tech, Supply Chain, People & Org, etc.) to shape strategies that unlock growth
- Identify capability gaps and key enablers required to support regional and brand priorities
- Connect functional priorities to brand and regional strategies, ensuring alignment and sequencing of investments
- Frame Strategic Choices and Support Decision-Making
- Structure key strategic questions, develop options, and clarify tradeoffs for leadership
- Support development of enterprise growth narratives for Tapestry's Executive Committee and Board discussions
- Contribute to quarterly strategy updates and ongoing articulation of Tapestry's growth agenda
- Ensure recommendations are grounded in clear assumptions, risks, and success criteria
