Primary Duties + Responsibilities
Maintain -20 freezer and cold room organization with incoming inventory and purging of expired material. Support inventory processes, solutions, and strategies for continuous improvement of inventory accuracy; includes cycles counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting, and reporting. Implement process changes to provide continuous improvement in work flow, operational procedures and other related business areas. Plan, perform and direct activities regarding receipts and deliveries of slides and fluids . Facilitate communication between works centers and manager. work area in a clean and orderly manner. Perform other duties as assigned
Education
Required Skills + Abilities
Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, and technical procedures. Ability to complete formal documentation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Thorough, accurate and detail-oriented. Ability to multi-task. Strong organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision. Proficient computer skills in MS Office, SAP, Internet, etc.
Physical Demands
Regularly perform repetitive manual operations. Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch. Frequently required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to use mechanical lift. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in -20 freezer and cold room with provided cold gear. Weekend hours may be required
Work Environment
Normal production and/or lab environment. -20 freezer and cold room. Frequently works near moving mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment and/or clothing required. The noise level is low to moderate
