| Duties & Responsibilities |
Event Setup & Breakdown
- Set up and tear down event spaces, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, stages and other equipment.
- Assist with setup of basic audio visual equipment.
- Loading & unloading of event equipment from trucks, storage areas and transport to event spaces.
- Ensure event spaces are arranged according to client specifications.
Cleaning & Upkeep of Event Spaces
- Clean events areas before and after each event to ensure spaces are tidy and ready for next event or client tours.
- Ensure event spaces meet ADA and Fire Code compliance to maintain safety and accessibility standards.
- Identifies necessary repairs and completes necessary work tickets.
Building Support
- Audits events are ensured they are executed according to client requests and event agenda.
- Keep storage areas organized and maintained.
- Assist with furniture, equipment and office moves.
- Delivery and pick up of interdepartmental mail, equipment and products to various department outlets.
Safety
- Follow all building and employee safety protocols.
- Act as point of contact for on-site issues and address them promptly with minimal disruptions to events.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, students and clients.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate dollies, carts and other equipment to move heavy objects safely and efficiently.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination or education and work experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
