As a Security Officer Badge Room Associate in Jackson, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor and vehicle access in accordance with post orders and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, checkpoints, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access exceptions, and incident details, and support site operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of 1+ years is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
